Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB: This role serves as a subject matter expert and technical steward for the candidate and team member lifecycle modules within Workday, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Learning. The Analyst supports HR program delivery by ensuring system processes, data flows, and configurations reflect business needs and deliver a seamless experience for both candidates and employees.
The ideal candidate brings practical experience configuring and supporting these PeopleEx domains in Workday, understands how system design influences engagement and compliance outcomes, and can contribute to scalable, user-friendly HR processes across a global workforce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: System Configuration & Support
1. Support configuration of Workday modules including Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Learning.
2. Maintain job requisition templates, onboarding workflows, talent review settings, and learning course structures.
3. Assist in managing security roles and business processes tied to PeopleEx workflows.
4. Partner with HR Subject Matter Experts to implement configuration changes and drive adoption of system features.
Issue Triage & Operational Excellence
1. Triage and resolve daily operational issues related to job postings, onboarding checklists, learning assignments, or performance cycles.
2. Identify root causes and escalate complex issues to senior team members or Workday support.
3. Monitor usage trends and raise system optimization opportunities.
4. Ensure compliance with audit and data integrity standards in candidate and employee data flows.
Testing & Documentation
1. Create and execute test scripts for enhancements, releases, and bug fixes across PeopleEx modules.
2. Document system updates, process flows, and testing outcomes to support internal audits and knowledge continuity.
3. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing during Workday biannual releases.
Reporting & Data Quality
1. Validate data accuracy for candidate profiles, onboarding status, performance ratings, and learning completions.
2. Support reporting needs for recruiting pipelines, new hire activity, talent metrics, and learning completion rates.
3. Coordinate with the People Analytics team to define and implement KPIs that align with HR’s strategic goals.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
1. Work closely with Recruiting, Talent Management, and Learning & Development teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
2. Provide end-user guidance and documentation for process changes and feature rollouts.
3. Collaborate with PeopleIT (PIT) peers to ensure seamless hand-offs between cross-functional modules (e.g., Recruiting to Core HCM).
1. Support the ongoing Service Delivery lifecycle, from intake through testing and deployment.
2. Participate in operational reviews and retrospectives to identify opportunities for system and process optimization.
3. Maintain up-to-date documentation of business processes, configuration logs, and user-facing materials.
4. Provide backup support for additional PIT activities as needed during peak periods or project timelines.
