E-commerce Project Manager
Location: San Diego, CA or Miami, FL preferred | Houston, TX acceptable
Type: Full-Time | Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable E-commerce Project Manager with a strong applications development background to lead and deliver end-to-end digital initiatives. This position plays a critical role in managing eCommerce, mobile, and web development projects that enhance customer experience and drive digital revenue. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure seamless planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives supporting our digital growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead planning and execution of web, mobile app, and eCommerce platform projects from conception to delivery.
• Manage project scheduling, budgeting, risk, and stakeholder communications.
• Gather and analyze requirements and translate business needs into actionable project plans.
• Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Ensure web application security standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, marketing, and vendors.
• Drive automated web sales campaigns and ensure optimized customer journeys.
• Manage middleware integrations (Informatica experience is a BIG plus).
• Oversee and support content updates via CMS (Content Tool).
• Utilize tools like JIRA and ServiceNow for tracking project progress and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with search engine teams to optimize internal and external search functionality.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of project components.
• Communicate fluently in English and Spanish, supporting multicultural teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in project management within digital or eCommerce environments.
• Demonstrated experience in application development projects (web, mobile, and APIs).
• Strong knowledge of project planning, resource scheduling, and budgeting.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Working knowledge of web application security principles.
• Proficient in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Comfortable managing search engine integrations, CMS systems, and automated campaigns.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Informatica middleware.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and JIRA project tracking tools.
Previous experience in product management or working closely with product teams.
